Past and recent projects carried out by the College

Achievement of the College

  • Construction of a Block of Three Classrooms through the College’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).
  • Construction of Entrance Gates and Gate Houses also through the College’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) to boost the image of the College.
  • Creation of Medical Laboratory Department to provide Medical Laboratory Services for the College students and staff and the neighbourhood;
  • Upgrading of College Website to a standard one of a College status;
  • The ICT Resource Centre was upgraded by NCC;
  • Establishment of standard Registry;
  • Provision of Environmental Health Demonstration Ground; Museum; Audio Visual Room; Technical Drawing Room, Basic Laboratories; Public Health Nursing Demonstration Room and other shared facilities equipped with Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) to National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) accredited required standard;
  • Establishment of Demonstration Rooms for Dental Nursing and Dental Therapy programmes as well as Dental Clinic to provide Dental Services for College and the Community;
  • Procurement of Teaching Aids and Equipment;
  • The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) granted interim accreditation to the College with effect from 1st October, 2017 to run:
    • National Diploma in Environmental Health (two streams of thirty students each).
    • Higher National Diploma in Public Health Nursing (two streams of thirty students each).
  • On 1st October, 2019, the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) also granted interim accreditation to the College to offer:
    • National Diploma in Dental Nursing (two streams of thirty students each).
    • National Diploma in Dental Therapy (two streams of thirty students each).
    • National Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics (two streams of thirty students each).
    • National Diploma in Health Information Management (one streams of thirty students).
  • Inclusion of HND – PHN in NYSC Scheme and of the College in JAMB Examination into tertiary institutions as a result of accreditation of the College and some of its Courses by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
  • The College also secure full accreditation of some of its programmes regulated by various Professional Regulatory Bodies.
